Collection: Laron Emcee

LaRon Emcee is a multi disciplined visual artist from Gary, Indiana. His art draws inspiration from comic books, afro-futurism, cartoons, along with the faces and life scenes he interacts with daily. Bright colors, patterns, and surreal settings are backdrops for snapshots of faces within the black diaspora. His paintings are created portraits intend to produce monuments of faces from his community. Clouds are a regular motif in Laron's art symbolizing his dreams, it also is meant to be a celebration of textured hair. His message couldn't be more clear, the under represented people in society are beautiful.
